Tapas Style Tasting Menu Special at Maison

If ever there was a time and place made for cosy dinners around the fireplace, it’s winter in the Cape vineyards. This season, our chef, Arno Janse van Rensburg at The Kitchen at Maison, has pulled out all the stops to create a menu that will appease even the most demanding food connoisseur.

Does line fish with seaweed, ink and potato spike your curiosity? How about lamb breast, sunchoke and hazelnut? Chef Arno has carefully selected each item on the menu to conjure only the most bespoke flavour pairings.

With a selection of five plates from a tapas-style tasting menu for only R395, the only thing better than this winter special will be the way you feel when you leave the picturesque farm landscape behind. Not forgetting the sublime Sunday spread offering Roast suckling pig or lamb shoulder with two sides.

The menu is not the only thing that is new this winter, the restaurant itself has undergone a dramatic renovation inviting you to return time after time for a fresh experience.

To leave an even more pleasant taste in the mouth, you can also purchase a case of the sought-after Shiraz for R750 and a case of Chardonnay for R650, or both for R1 300, which is only available at the Maison farm.

P.S.: The special runs from July to September.
