Learn how to make Dim Sum with Ginger & Lime

Ginger and Lime welcomes back Kuan Lai. He has recently launched a series of Asian Master Classes that form part of the amazing Kuan Kitchen Club.The next class Kuan will be putting on will be on the art of Dim Sum making. A favourite with almost everyone, Dim Sum is so tasty and delicious, but even more so when you realise how much love and effort goes into making each one!

Come and experience it for yourself on Wednesday 6 July 2016 at 11:30am – 2pm, at Ginger and Lime Food Studio.

On the Menu

Har Gao
steamed prawn dumpling wrapped with thin translucent wheat starch pastry (gripping and folding technique).

Geaw Za
pot sticker pork dumpling wrapped with wheat pastry (gripping and pleading technique).

Siu Mai
steamed pork and shitake dumpling with wonton pastry making (from scratch) and folding into a a dumpling shape

Also, master the steaming technique to achieve the ultimate succulent texture of Dim Sum. Royal Umbrella Jasmine Egg Fried Rice will be served in between as a taster.

What to expect?

You will receive a refreshment on arrival, wine and waters throughout the class and a coffee or tea to end off with. Each guest will also receive a set of recipes, an apron, kitchen tea towel and other goodies courtesy of Spekko Rice.
