Restaurant Week is back!
It’s the time of the year, where upmarket restaurants across the country will offer their menu at reduced prices either for lunch or dinner. Seats have to be pre-booked in advance through the Restaurant Week online portal.
The menu encapsulates delicious Hispanic market-style food which leans towards sharing and feasting. From healthy Peruvian ceviche to Mexican tacos and Argentinian inspired asado, where dishes like lamb picanha and beef fillet kabobs are cooked over coals. The sharing plates for feasting include paellas, which are slow-cooked, in a traditional hearth for a delicious, smoky flavour, and sustainable whole fish from their coal oven.
How to book?
From 1 October – 30 October 2021, La Boqueria will be offering an exciting 3 course lunch & dinner menu for only R345 per person. A 2 course lunch menu is also available for R245 pp.
Restaurant Week Menu:
Pork paella balls, lightly crumbed and deep fried served on soy & honey glazed smoked pork, sriracha aioli and hazelnut praline
Fresh west coast mussels steamed in white wine, lemon & butter served in a creamy sangria velouté with freshly baked market bread
GRAPE ROASTED SALMON
Grilled salmon roasted in grape jus served on mussel & bacon sauce, grilled broccolini, compressed apple & dried apricot pearled cous-cous
FILETE DE AVESTRUZ
Marinated ostrich fillet, street corn and black bean empanada, grilled asparagus topped with gremolata and rioja jus
Camembert cheese baked in puff pastry served with blueberry cheesecake ice cream and rioja poached strawberries
CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE FIELD
Double chocolate & toasted pistachio truffle with mousse, choc ripple and fresh strawberries
