Restaurant Week is back!

It’s the time of the year, where upmarket restaurants across the country will offer their menu at reduced prices either for lunch or dinner. Seats have to be pre-booked in advance through the Restaurant Week online portal.

The Grillhouse

Welcome to The Grillhouse, Johannesburg’s most loved and well established premium steakhouse. Established in 1995, The Grillhouse offers the perfect quadfecta in dining – great food, a huge selection of fine wines and malts, stellar service and an upmarket yet warm and hospitable atmosphere.

It’s a regular mealtime destinations for local and international business people, as well as being a firm family favourite restaurant. It is here where you can often spot top businessmen, celebrities and politicians. The Grillhouse has received numerous awards, including Leisure Options’ Best Independent Steakhouse (for the last five years), and a Rossouw’s Restaurants rating of three stars (the highest accolade). And while The Grillhouse is famous for its steaks and ribs, the menu caters for everyone, with a range of salads, chicken, seafood and vegetarian dishes on offer (not to mention the legendary brownies and ice cream).

With their art deco furnishings and subtle lighting, reminiscent of the classic New York grillhouse, the décor cleverly combines raw face brick, black leather seating and fine timber to create a warm earthy feel. There are also private dining rooms, and a wine cellar for you to choose from a huge selection

How to book?

From 1 April – 1 May 2022, Johannesburg’s most loved and well established premium steakhouse, The Grillhouse will offer you a 2-course lunch (R275) and 3-course dinner (R375), using only seasonal fresh ingredients to give you a real taste of Spring.

Grilled Haloumi Cheese
Springbok Carpaccio
Chicken Livers Peri Peri
lightly grilled in a peri peri sauce
grilled or fried in lemon butter or peri peri

Main Course
a choice of one of the following served with a side of your choice:

200gr Fillet
300 gr Rump
Spatchcock Chicken (BBQ, lemon herb or peri peri)
Grilled Salmon
Vegan Linguine

a choice of one of the following:

Hot Malva Pudding with Custard
