Steak Masterclass with The Hussar Grill

Everything about STEAK in one epic cooking class!

Steak can be tricky – it can so easily be overcooked and come out dry and tough! And nobody wants to eat rubber steak. That’s why The Hussar Grill, the best steakhouse in the Western Cape is calling aspiring foodies and steak lovers to join their steak masterclasses this summer.

Hosted by the Hussar Grill at the Silwood School of Cookery in Cape Town, these classes are great for those with no former training but also for amateur chefs or anyone looking for a fun night out.

Learn how to cook sirloin, rump and fillet (hint: sirloin and fillet can be cooked quickly and served very rare, while rump  can be fried or grilled more slowly.)

Participants will also learn how to wet-age meat at home, receive tips on how to grill a steak rare or medium, how to braai or stovetop grill the meat and prepare a béarnaise or pepper sauce. Three steak courses await you as well as wine by Ernst Gouws & Co.

The cost to attend is R650 per person and includes ingredients, equipment, tuition and wine. The classes are from 18:30-21:30. Diarise the following dates and book now!
