Celebrate Father’s Day with a sumptuous Sunday Roast at The Cellars-Hohenort

When it comes to keeping Dad happy, there is no better way than spoiling him with a sumptuous Sunday lunch.

This Father’s Day, Sunday the 18th of June, elevate the celebration by treating Dad to a leisurely 5-star dining experience that nods to all things traditional and delicious at the Cellars-Hohenort Hotel & Spa.

Served in the elegant Hohenort venue, Father’s Day lunch begins with a choice of appetisers.

  • Choose between Garden pea & parmesan velouté; or Aged Boland double baked cheese souffle with shaved parmesan and gin cheese sauce – a treasured recipe from the late Liz McGrath, the founder of The Liz McGrath Collection. Mains includes a feast of Slices of roast beef; Crispy roasted potatoes; Seasonal Garden Vegetables; and Yorkshire Pudding finished off with a deliciously rich jus. A traditional South African malva pudding with crème anglaise and vanilla bean ice cream follows, ending Father’s Day on the perfect sweet note.

Nature-loving fathers and families are invited to explore the hotel gardens which spread across nine acres, working up an appetite before lunch, or extending the afternoon spoils and making use of the many photo opportunities that await to capture the special day. (Cost R325 pp. Bookings are essential)
