These wines were acquired from a variety of reputable auctions where Tsogo Sun Hotels is known for being a top bidder! The Collectors Wine Shop is located at both properties for affordable rates and is open to the public, not just hotel guests and you’ll find many incredible wines at auction prices that may no longer be part of the hotel restaurant’s wine list.

Among the remarkable wines secured include the Kanonkop Cabernet Sauvignon 1997, De Toren Z 2010, Eikendal Infused by Earth Chardonnay 2016 (of which only 1 200 bottles were made), Nederburg Private Bin R163 Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, Allesverloren Cabernet Sauvignon 2001 and Plaisir de Merle Cabernet 2008.
All of the wines acquired at the 2019 Cape Winemakers Guild, Cape Fine & Rare Wine and the Nedbank Cape Winemakers Guild Auction will be available for retail purchase at both stores from January 2020. While all other wines purchased in previous years are currently stocked at both locations.
