Pop-Up Rooftop Boules for Summer Fun with Let’s Talk Boules

It’s summer and with all this glorious sunshine, we just can’t stay indoors.

If you’re completely over getting beach sand in your ciabatta, we’ve got another option for you – and it comes complete with food, drink and great views of Table Mountain.

Rooftop boules with Let’s Talk Boules.

Three rounds of boules will cost you just R25.

Originating from France, the aim of boules is to toss a large metal ball in an attempt to get close to the jack or target ball. Simple. At the end of the three rounds, the team with the most points wins. The game is not strenuous and is fun for all ages.

And you don’t have to slave your time away on a boules green in the hot sun; not when Ross and Byron of Let’s Talk Boules have teamed up with Harvest Café and Deli to bring Capetonians a restaurant, café, bar, music summer experience on a Bo-Kaap rooftop.

The Harvest Café and Deli offers tasty and healthy food and refreshing drinks in the form of The Duchess G&T – but they have a wide variety of beverages to quench your thirst, and spectacular views of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head to boot.

Boules is definitely not as easy as it looks, but it’s a great way to socialise and have a few laughs on a hot summer’s day.

Let’s Talk Boules will be hosting pop-up events until the 13th of April, but they’re also available for corporate functions, birthday parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties. Valentine’s Day is coming too, so why not bring your date here?

Private bookings are available at the Harvest Café and Deli.
