As the sun dips behind the hills, Enrico from Let’s Journey Together fills the room with music that matches the moment: smooth, festive, and perfect for the final hours of the year.
The six-course dinner offers flavours that travel from playful to refined.
- The opening Pani Puri is filled with smoked beetroot tartare and bright labneh, a fun little bite that wakes up the palate. Next arrives a delicate scallop tartare paired with crisp Granny Smith apple and cucumber jelly — light, refreshing and beautifully balanced.
- The meal moves into something slightly deeper with trout mi cuit served with peas and a velvety smoked mussel sauce. Then comes the duck breast, all tender richness, brightened with vanilla-scented cauliflower and citrus gastrique.
- For the main event, the fillet of beef brings classic comfort with a thoughtful twist: potato pavé, fondant onion, mushroom parfait and a glossy Shiraz jus that ties it all together. Dessert seals the night with chocolate, Kahlua hazelnut gelato and grilled nectarine — a sweet, silky, just-indulgent-enough finish to the year.
- Petit fours bring one final flourish, just in time for the countdown. As the clock hits midnight, guests raise a glass of MCC to welcome 2026 — a moment made even sweeter by the setting around them.
