At Hazendal Wine Estate, the calendar leans into culture, and this April, Marks brings music into the mix.
The MADD Thursdays kicks things off on 9 April from 19:00 to 21:00 with Angelah Stuurman leading an open mic night built around reinterpreted classics.
It’s a format that keeps things relaxed and a little unpredictable, with familiar songs taking on new shape in the moment.

The jazz band performs at Marks weekly from Friday to Sunday, from 14:30 to 16:30, while live piano music is featured from Monday to Thursday, performed by Niel Redman between 14:30 and 17:00 each day.
At Marks, the experience extends beyond the stage. The menu centres on elevated tapas and refined bar snacks, designed for sharing and keeping things social. Under the direction of Chef Phil Carmichael, the focus stays clear: flavour first, with familiar ingredients done properly.
The bar complements the mood with well-crafted cocktails and wine by cellarmaster Kiara Scott Farmer, rounding out an experience that feels curated without being complicated. It’s a simple formula. Good music, good food, and a space that invites people to stay a little longer than planned. Book your spots now!
