R65 000 up for grabs with Burgers, Brews and Blackjack at GrandWest

GrandWest’s epic new Burgers, Brews and Blackjack experience promises triple the fun every Thursday from April to the end of June 2026.

To be part of the action, simply round up your besties and head off to GrandWest to show off your math skills at the blackjack table.

You and your mates can pit your skills against the dealer in an exciting few rounds of cards until an ultimate winner emerges. Then make your way to Tiger’s Milk for serious dude food and lots of hilarious karaoke fun and energetic DJ action.

  • Anyone aged 18 to 35 can sign up for the promotion free of charge at the MVG registration office. Staff will explain how to qualify to be one of the eight people to play in the weekly blackjack tournament, with share of R5 000 each week.

Knowing the basics of blackjack won’t hurt, but you dont need to know how to play because the dealer will explain everything so you’ll soon be feeling like a pro. Players aim to beat the dealer by achieving a hand total closer to 21 than the dealer, without exceeding 21 which is known as a bust.

The games are fast-paced and fun rather than long and drawn-out. Friends who didn’t make the cut are welcome to offer encouragement and social banter from the sidelines.

To round off the fun Tiger’s Milk is offering a delicious choice of two standard beef burgers, or two 180g burgers with a choice of cheese or mushroom sauce, all washed down with a colder than ice Tiger’s Milk 300ml lager, or soft drink. Thursdays also happen to be karaoke nights, presenting the opportunity for a fabulous night out. The party atmosphere is electric whether you can sing or not.

Although aimed at a younger audience wanting a night out with besties, the fun is by no means limited to them. Blackjack and all other Tables can be reserved by any group wanting an exclusive card or roulette gaming experience, and Tiger’s Milk burgers and brew will appeal to all age groups.
