The Red Table has launched its new winter menu to showcase Nederburg’s richly fruited and delicious wines.
You’ll find tasty soups, traditional fried fish and chips with red onion salsa and tartare sauce, the signature venison burger with avocado and caramelised onions, and hearty fare for the hungry like grilled lamb rump and succulent pork belly served with new season root vegetables.
Every dish has a wine to match. The slow-roast shredded duck served with beetroot, spinach and orange segments goes down a dream with Heritage Heroes The Beautiful Lady Gewürztraminer, or the commanding yet subtle Ingenuity White, a blend of eight white varietals led by Sauvignon blanc. The grilled line fish is superb with The Winemasters Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc. Or try the beef fillet with The Winemasters Cabernet Sauvignon.
End your hearty meal with a decadent dessert or cheese platter for two. Choose from a selection of sinful ice-creams or The Red Table’s vanilla custard and cinnamon sponge trifle served with Heritage Heroes The Beautiful Lady Gewürztraminer or The Winemasters Noble Late Harvest.
A wide selection of Nederburg wines is offered by the glass or is available by the bottle. A kids’ menu is also on offer.

Tuesdays to Saturdays: Lunch served from 11:00 to 16:00
Sundays: Lunch served from 12:00 to 16:00
