Ingredients and spices inspired by Egypt, Nigeria, Tanzania, and beyond come together with coastal seafood, Cape Malay influence, and proudly South African favourites to create dishes that feel familiar yet excitingly new.
Each plate is a creative blend of tradition and innovation — from fragrant spice-forward curries and vibrant plant-based dishes to expertly grilled meats infused with regional marinades. The result is a menu that captures the bold spirit of African cuisine while presenting it through a modern, elevated lens.
Visually, the menu celebrates modern African elegance. Clean layouts and vibrant colour accents, inspired by the photography and surrounding flora, create a cohesive and contemporary aesthetic. The iconic strelitzia flower — native to the gardens and symbolic of the location — features on the cover, reinforcing the strong connection to place.
