Cape Town’s food scene doesn’t stand still and neither does the Good Life Show Africa.
Returning to the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 29 to 31 May 2026, this three-day event brings together the people, ideas, and flavours shaping how the city eats now.
At the heart of it is the Theatre of Taste, the show’s flagship culinary stage.
- One of this year’s highlights is Roushanna Gray, a name closely tied to Cape Town’s coastal food culture. As the founder of Veld and Sea, she’s spent over 16 years turning wild, local ingredients into thoughtful, modern dishes.
Her approach is less about following trends and more about understanding what grows around us. Seaweed, coastal plants, and overlooked ingredients take centre stage, all grounded in seasonality and sustainable sourcing. At the show, she’ll be leading a live, interactive experience—part demonstration, part discovery—where the Cape’s landscape becomes the menu.
Beyond the stage, the Good Life Show Africa offers a broader look at conscious living, from innovative food brands to new ways of thinking about sustainability. But it’s the Theatre of Taste that keeps things grounded: real techniques, real ingredients, and a chance to see how ideas translate onto the plate.
