Matt Manning One Ingredient Team Building or Year End Functions

Not many things are worse than try-hard team buildings or awkward year end functions. The secret is not to give people too much time to actually talk to each other – you need to keep them busy. Don’t judge me, it’s TRUE! And what better a way to keep busy, than make them cook their own food?

One Ingredient is offering a number of packages to keep people happy and entertained, which can be tailored to your requirements and budget. This unique Cape Town dining experience takes one carefully chosen ingredient, which is then used throughout four courses of the evening. Guests enjoy a cooking class and then get their hands dirty by copying the chef and cooking and plating their own dish!

Your One Ingredient experience begins with canapés and a welcome drink at the elegant 7th Floor venue in Observatory. You’ll then be seated and served an amuse bouche, with a carefully paired wine from a local wine estate. A live cooking demo of the next two courses by Chef Matt, is followed by the guests recreating the dish in teams. You’ll then head to the dining room and enjoy your creation with more well deserved wine, after which you’ll be served dessert.

Finally, Matt will announce the team with the best-plated dish, who will walk home with a special gift.

One Ingredient caters to all dietary requirements and various menu options are available. Branded take-home gifts can also be arranged. Honestly, you can tell them what you want and they will try their hardest to make it happen.
