If your idea of Eid involves stretchy pants and a table that groans under the weight of deliciousness, Hyatt House Rosebank has just the thing.
This 6–7 June 2025, they’re dishing up a festive feast that’s big on flavour, full of heart, and absolutely worth clearing your weekend schedule for.
The Eid Menu: A Buffet of Joy
- For just R450 per person, guests can dive into a celebration that starts with boontjie soup and just keeps getting better. We’re talking a bread basket of dreams (mini vetkoek, naan, mosbolletjies… yes, please), plus DIY salad bars, mezze platters, and more dips than a 90s dance floor.
- And then there’s the hot food lineup, where family favourites take centre stage—think Aunty Fatima’s Denning Vleis, Salwaa’s Mutton Curry, Durban Potato Curry, Seafood Paella, and the legendary Chicken Akni. There’s even a carvery station with Cajun whole roasted chicken and roast beef for those who believe every celebration needs a carving knife involved.
Side Hustles & Sweet Endings
- No feast is complete without the sides—and Hyatt House delivers with roast veg, savoury rice, creamed sweetcorn-stuffed gem squash, and a selection of sauces to drizzle, dip, or drench (we don’t judge).
- Dessert? Oh, they understood the assignment: potato pudding with stewed dried fruit, lemon meringue tart, trifle, cheesecake, and seasonal fruit for balance (and colour, let’s be honest).
More Than Just a Meal
It’s not just about full plates—it’s about full hearts too. 10% of every transaction will be donated to Gift of the Givers, making your meal part of something even more meaningful.
