FARRO’s 5 Course Dinner at Makers Landing is the Experience you didn’t know you Needed!

FARRO is back at Makers Landing and this time, they’re keeping it simple: no choices, no fuss—just great food, strong Negronis, and a couple of parents cooking their hearts out (and maybe chipping away at school fees while they’re at it).

On Friday 30 and Saturday 31 May, FARRO will host V3 of their now cult-status pop-up: a five-course food experience that trades ego for excellence.

It’s R800 per person, and what you get in return is a front-row seat to some of the most honest, soulful cooking in Cape Town.

  • Chef Alex is in the kitchen (read: in the zone) plating up pasta, fish, meat, and dessert that somehow makes you want to high-five your plate. Eloise is your Negroni-wielding host, and with a bit of The Black Keys in the background, the vibe hits just the right mix of cool and cosy.

The format?
🥖 Snacks to start.
🍝 Pasta that’s handmade and unforgettable.
🐟 Fish done right.
🥩 Meat that makes you want to lick the plate (don’t, though).
🍨 Sweet things to end on a high note.

There are no menus, no substitutions—just trust the process and bring your appetite. It’s like going to a friend’s house who happens to be an incredible chef, but they also charge you (because, you know… school fees).

Seats are limited, the food is phenomenal, and the atmosphere? The kind that makes you linger long after dessert.
