Discovering Bot River’s most Interesting Wines in One Evening at Culture Wine Bar

At Culture Wine Bar, wine tasting isn’t a sit-down exercise. It’s something you move through, glass in hand.

On 10 April at 18:00, the bar hosts the Santé Bot River tasting, bringing together more than 15 wines from one of the Cape’s most quietly compelling regions.

For R295 per person, guests are invited to explore a lineup that includes producers like Luddite, Genevieve, Beaumont, and Villion, among others.

  • No fixed seating, no rigid structure. Just a walk-around tasting that encourages conversation as much as it does discovery. You taste what you like, revisit what you enjoyed, and chat to the people behind the bottles along the way.

Bot River has built a reputation for doing things a little differently. Smaller producers, thoughtful winemaking, and wines that tend to reward curiosity rather than play it safe. This tasting leans into that identity, offering a broad snapshot of the region in one evening.
