Celebrate the Rhino with Black Rhino Gin & Cape Town Gin

As we fast approach World Rhino Day, September 22nd, we want to celebrate these magnificent and endangered creatures, and do what we can to protect them!

The rhino is a species that has been poached for their horns for centuries across Asia and Africa.

During the colonial era, the rhino populations in Africa were heavily exploited.

  • European hunters targeted rhinos for their horns and for sport. This period marked a significant decline in rhino numbers across the continent. In South Africa today one rhino is poached every 10 hours and even the Renosterbos veld is under threat of extinction.

The conservation of these magnificent creatures is an important cause to Cape Town Gin & Spirits Company, which is why they support the Boucher Legacy with their Black Rhino Gin. By buying a bottle of Cape Town Black Rhino Gin, you are contributing a portion of the sales to this NPO in support of these incredible creatures.

So, save a rhino, buy a bottle of Cape Town Black Rhino Gin, and try out this delicious cocktail in celebration of our wild unicorns!
