Early risers and racing fans, mark your calendars — Wednesday, 22 October 2025 is not your average morning.
It’s the first Breakfast Gallops of the season, and Race Coast is throwing open the gates at Hollywoodbets Durbanville for a galloping good time from 7:30am to 11am.
This isn’t just a morning stroll around the track.
- Expect the thunder of hooves, the aroma of coffee, and the kind of buzz only racehorses (and mimosas) can create. Alistair Cohen will be on the mic, calling the action as some of South Africa’s rising stars breeze up in prep for the 2025 Two-Year-Old Sale. You’ll get a rare peek at both future champions and current feature horses as they stretch their legs on the turf.
And while the horses bring the horsepower, the kitchen brings the fuel: breakfast buns, freshly brewed coffee, and mimosas to toast to a bright racing future. The best part? Entrance is free and everyone’s welcome — whether you’re a trainer, owner, punter, or just someone who likes their mornings with a bit of flair.
