We’ve always been a fan of Cafe Charles (read our review)! 

And we can’t be any more excited after knowing that everyone can now enjoy their wonderful Cape Malay inspired dishes at home. Perfect for date night during lockdown or a meal after a long day at work, you will definitely find something that tickles your fancy.

For each meal, there are two delivery options, either for lunch (delivered between 11:00 and 13:00) or dinner (delivered between 17:00 and 19:00), which need to be pre-ordered by 6pm the day before.

On Mondays Beef Bobotie & Yellow Rice is the dish of the day. A simple and flavourful South African favourite that invokes childhood memories of Grandma’s cooking. Family portions are on offer for R258 and serves 3-4 people as well as the ‘city-living’ portion which serves 1-2 people for R129. *pre-orders in by Sunday 6pm

Wednesdays & Saturdays

So popular that it’s served on two days of the week! The Cape Malay Curries & Malva for 2 is available every Wednesday and Saturday. Choose from free-range chicken, karoo lamb or organic vegetable with prices ranging from R275 – R390. *pre-orders in by Tuesday or Friday 6pm.

Mondays – Sundays

Also don’t forget that the famous Charles BBQ Beef & BBQ Chicken Burgers are available daily for only R125. Making use of free-range chicken breast or 200g Frankie Fenner grass-fed beef, you know you’ll be getting one of the juiciest burgers in Cape Town. Please pre-order these by 6pm the day before the delivery date so that the chefs know what is needed on the day to prepare all the dishes.
