Women’s Day in Cape Town 2018

This year, Women’s Day will fall on the 9th of August 2018, a Thursday.

It’s a day that marks the anniversary of the great women’s march of 1956, where women marched to the Union Buildings to protest against the carrying of pass books.

It’s important to understand our history but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate a little too. The public holiday is the perfect occasion to treat yourself ot the special lady in your life with one of the many unique excursions, specials and events planned in beautiful Cape Town.

Please find a range of Cape Town Restaurants offering specials, talks or themed events on Women’s Day 2018!
