Haute Cabrière – The Home of Pierre Jourdan is committed to producing wines and Cap Classiques exclusively from the noble cultivars Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Following French tradition, the farm’s still wines are named after the property – Haute Cabrière – and the Cap Classique range is named after the original founder, Pierre Jourdan, a French Huguenot who was granted the land in 1694 and planted the first vines.
The wine estate has been one of the favourites at this year’s Klink Awards and has been nominated for The Ultimate Winelands Experience as well as the Best Bubbly category this year. Results are eagerly awaited at the only wine consumer awards that brings together the best in wine and food experiences in the Cape Winelands. The favourites are voted for by the public with 13 pre-selcted categories with a total of 53 Klink Awards finalists.
