Sharing space with The Charles Guesthouse, this quaint corner café is situated in the heart of De Waterkant.

The Charles Café serves up artisan coffee, speciality loose-leaf teas, scrumptious breakfasts, light lunches and delicious dinner. Their aim is to support small businesses (like themselves) by only using local suppliers, with organic and preservative-free produce, as much as possible. The dining room, boasting an antique fireplace, is perfect for intimate coffee dates and business meet-ups. On warmer days they suggest putting on your sunnies and SPF and enjoying the city views (and people watching) from the roof deck, or taking it easy while relaxing at their outside tables under the beautiful, old Brazilian Pepper Tree.

P.S.: The café is also available to cater for intimate private functions.
