Raiders of the Golden Incan Tombs at Five Flies

If you haven’t been to one of the Five Flies Murder Mystery dinners, you really need to get your act together. The only excuses that I will accept are, “I work for NASA and am on a spaceship”, “I just had a baby” and maybe, “I don’t live in Cape Town”. Otherwise, pull up those socks, find yourself a friend (or 7) and attend one of these amazing events.

For R300 you get a welcome drink, 3-courses and the mystery to solve. We hear that the main course is a choice between char-grilled rib-eye steak or sweet potato puree, with braised kidney beans and walnut chimmi-churri OR roast kingklip with veg escabeche, crushed potatoes, coriander vinaigrette and red pepper essance. Yum, very yum. Plus, if you want to hire dress-up closes, you’ll get 20% off at Mardi Gras and 15% off at Mad Caps.

The next murder to solve is on 31st August (fully booked) and due to such ridiculous interest, they’re having a repeat performance on 1st September (still seats available). So then, what’s your excuse?
