They also have epic mountain biking trails for the easy going, adventurous cyclist or runner. While we’ve had to be content with the predictable tar roads of our neighbourhoods, we’re so pleased to hear that the Boschendal Trails are officially open for visitors again.
Grab your gear and head back into the mountains at the Boschendal Trail Centre
Put your endurance to the test or just take an easy stroll through the beautiful Franschhoek mountains.
The Boschendal Trail Centre is back and will be open from 8am-4pm daily for all bikers and runners with a permit just costing R50 per day. Mountain bikers can choose anything from a 4km to an epic 23km route and runners can choose between a 5km or 10km trail. The centre will assist with maps and directions.
Looking to hire a bike? Choose from the following options:
E-bikes: flat rate of R800 per day
Single suspension: Half day R200; Full day R350
Full suspension: Half day R350; Full day R500
Kids bikes: Half day R150; Full day R300
