Raise a glass to the New Year on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, and nestled beneath Bantry Bay’s iconic Lion’s Head and Table Mountain, at the President Hotel.
Locals and visitors can ease into the end of year bash by soaking up Bantry Bay’s summer rays poolside whilst sipping on signature sundowners, and indulge in a spectacular three course gourmet buffet with local DJ entertainment to keep you celebrating till the clock strikes midnight, all for the price of R1 100 per person.
From 9pm to 1am the hotel’s chef will be dishing up festive favourites comprising of starters including a hearty wild mushroom and truffle soup, a gourmet smoked salmon with caper berries, red onion, crème fraîche and horseradish, a mouth-watering carvery selection including roasted fillet of beef with thyme, garlic and Madagascan pepper sauce and roast fillet kudu with a blackberry and brandy jus. Guests can also fill their plates with a wide array of antipasti, cold meats, artisanal cheese and breads, as well as hot buffet delights before diving into decadent desserts such as sticky toffee pudding and lemon glazed posset. Pair the meal with local curated gin, craft beer or signature South African wines at an additional cost.
Kids under 6 eat for free, and kids under 12 pay R300. Subject to availability and bookings are essential.
