Winter Wednesdays Pop-up Evenings are back at The Homestead—and They’re Hotter Than Ever!

Cape Town’s chill has officially met its match. The Homestead in Plumstead is firing up the flavour this winter with its Winter Wednesday Pop-Up Evenings, running through June and July—and trust us, you’re going to want in.

This isn’t your average midweek dinner. It’s an experience.

A cosy, candlelit culinary adventure with a rotating crowd of food lovers, neighbours, and serious eaters, all gathering for one reason: to feast.

• From 18h00 onwards, guests can book a time slot that suits their mood (or hunger level), and settle in for a night of bold flavours and familiar favourites—plus a few new surprises thrown in for good measure.

Let’s talk menu. The starters are anything but shy. There’s Tempura Prawns drizzled with tangy pomegranate molasses, and Lamb Riblets seasoned with coriander and lemon salt that practically fall apart in your mouth. Craving something street-style?
