Cape Town Cocktail Week has plenty of glitz to go around, but nothing shines quite like Night of the Queens at Time Out Market.
On Thursday 11 December 2025, the market transforms into a dazzling playground of feathers, heels and full-volume fabulousness, thanks to a trio of queens who know exactly how to command a room.

From the moment the doors open at 6 PM, guests are welcomed into a pre-show whirl of selfies, bubbly, sparkles and general excitement.
- Time Out Market’s food stalls bring their A-game too, with flavour-packed bites, snacks and sweet treats to fuel the night. It is dinner, entertainment and drama rolled neatly into one glamorous outing.
By 7 PM, the spotlight swings to the main event. Manila von Teez, Kat Gilardi and Vida Fantabisher — three icons of Beaulah: Queens van die Kaap — step onto the stage with enough charisma to light up the Waterfront. Expect high hair, higher heels, quick wit and the kind of lip-syncs that make the whole room cheer like a proud auntie at a talent show.
The atmosphere lands somewhere between theatre, comedy, fashion show and joyful chaos. Friends arrive in groups. Sequins appear everywhere. Someone always gasps dramatically. And the queens, as always, deliver performances that leave everyone smiling long after the final pose.
