The Galileo Open Air Cinema plans to make the most of the last summer months, catering to you and the little ones for the March/April school holidays.

Catering to the little ones and their free calendars over the school holidays, The Galileo Open Air Cinema will be hosting family-friendly flicks under the stars throughout March and April and has you covered for Easter plans and post-exam treats.

With the ultimate crowd-pleaser venues in Cape Town like Kirstenbosch Garden, Battery Park at the V&A Waterfront, Central Park in Century City, Meerendal Wine Estate, as well as a host of Winelands weekend venues- there’s guaranteed to be some outdoor movie magic popping up at a much-loved outdoor venue near you.

Choose from classics like ‘Shrek’, ‘The Secret Garden, ‘Cruella’, ‘Luca’, ‘Mamma Mia’ and ‘Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway’, with all age groups and viewing restrictions catered to.

Doors open from 6pm on Thursday’s and Sunday’s, 5pm on Saturday’s and 5pm for the Easter screening, so why not arrive early and allow the kids to burn off some excess energy pre-screening as the rest of the family relax on the luscious lawns.
