Besides initiating an uncompromised drive to produce great quality wines, Franschhoek Cellar now offers an outstanding value range of single variety wines, capturing the vibrant character and charm of the magnificent valley of wine.
The wines are intended for honest enjoyment without lavish clutter or complication, yet without being simple either. They advocate full ripe fruit expressions with sufficient restraint to maintain grace and charm.
The kitchen opens from 11h00 and serves light snacks, lunches and cakes throughout the day. Expect artisanal food using home-grown ingredients and fresh produce from local markets and suppliers in the valley.
Excellent coffee from Terbodore Coffee Roasters in the Franschhoek valley is served throughout the venue.
