Calling all flavour chasers, foodies, and curious nibblers — something tasty this way comes!
La Paris Bakery is throwing open its doors for a two-day Tasting Day celebration that promises to be part feast, part discovery, and fully delicious.
Mark your calendars for Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, because this is your chance to be among the first to sample a fresh lineup of bakery delights and boutique bites. There is no entry fee to the event and guests can look forward to a variety of artisanal goods, with plenty available to purchase and take home.
What’s on the Menu?
La Paris isn’t holding back. This tasting weekend is packed with new arrivals, artisan products, and flavour bombs that you’ll want to take home — and possibly hide from the rest of the household.
-
🧀 Kokerboom Kaas Raw-Milk Cheeses – These small-batch beauties hail from Velddrif and bring serious personality. Made with A2/A2 milk, they’re bold, creamy, and complex in all the right ways.
-
🍷 Lemberg Wines – Sip and swirl Tulbagh’s finest with this boutique winery’s Rhône-style reds and expressive whites. Minimal intervention, maximum character.
-
🍪 La Paris Chewy Cookies – Fresh from the oven and impossible to eat just one. Consider yourself warned.
-
🥣 Artisan Pantry Staples – Think smoky hummus, silky baba ghanoush, punchy olive tapenade, and more — all crafted in small batches and begging for a spot in your fridge.
And just to elevate the vibes? Live music to soundtrack your sampling session.
