Come the date of the event, join us for an indulgent night at the iconic steakhouse and bar located in Cape Town’s historic Heritage Square. The interior is sophisticated and moody with exposed stone walls and leather seating; it’s the perfect atmosphere for drinking wine – and on the night expect to feel as if you’ve stumbled upon an urban wine cellar.
Stellenbosch wine estate, Sterhuis will host the evening and lead a tasting through their range of wines, which includes a Blanc de Blancs, Chardonnay, Astra White, and Chenin Blanc as well as a selection of red wines. The estate is family-owned and run; their motto “There is no easy way from the earth to the stars” symbolizes the dedication and perseverance with which they have developed, and continue to nurture, their family estate.
The wine-tasting will be partnered with a three-course meal for R250; expect HQ’s famous sirloin and thin-cut fries as the main feature. The night will be fun, informative and intimate, but only two words really matter: red wine and steak.
