Spices, Street Food & Live Music: A Taste of India at Makers Landing

Makers Landing is turning up the heat this weekend — and it smells incredible.

On Saturday, 18 October from 12PM, the V&A’s foodie hub explodes into colour, flavour, and festive fun with a one-day-only celebration: “The Flavours of India”.

This is no ordinary food fair — it’s a feast for all senses. Imagine 40+ stalls bursting with authentic Indian street eats, vibrant curries, sizzling snacks, fragrant chai, and irresistible sweets (yes, we’re looking at you, jalebi). Add in handcrafted goods, live music, and culinary showstoppers, and you’ve got a spicy Saturday escape, no passport required.

🎉 Here’s what’s cooking:

  • 🍛 40+ Food & Retail Stalls serving everything from butter chicken to biryani, dosas to delights you’ve never even heard of but will instantly love.

  • 🎤 Live Entertainment that’ll have your toes tapping and your spirit transported straight to the streets of Mumbai.

  • 👧🏽🧒🏾 Kids’ Play Area to keep the little ones happily occupied while you get your foodie fix.

  • 🍽️ Celebrity Chef Moments where you’ll witness the magic of Indian cooking brought to life — spices flying, stories shared, and signature dishes revealed.

And of course, your favourite Makers Landing vendors will be open and ready to welcome you with their usual flair and flavour.
