SA Vodka Festival

The first ever SA Vodka Festival and Lifestyle Experience will be held at The Lookout, V&A Waterfront from 30 October – 1 November 2013.

They are called “Generation Y”! The fast-paced, fast spoken, technological generation that often lets its clothes cars, friends and even drinks define them. This is exactly the demographic that the SA Vodka Festival will cater to.
This event will debut in the cosmopolitan city of Cape Town and will provide a rare opportunity for novice and expert vodka enthusiasts to partake in the Vodka Lifestyle Experience. There is a sophistication that is often overlooked when people think of vodka and the SA Vodka Festival aims to correct this unfortunate state of affairs. Despite vodka being the base drink of many-a-cocktail, little is known about this fine spirit. The SA Vodka Festival is the perfect platform to celebrate the value of this distilled liquor while sharing some prized Vodka knowledge and having a great time doing it all.

On show, there will be various brands of vodka and Vodka Lifestyle associated products running the gamut of complementary goods from drinks and food to people . The SA Vodka Festival will provide the best stage for established and new brands to make their mark in vodka circles. Visitors to the festival will be able to see, taste, smell and feel the Vodka Lifestyle Experience.

The Vodka Lifestyle Experience is all about pamper and sophistication. The event teams up with luxury chocolate maker Lindt to bring a sweet touch to the affair. To relax and unwind, visitors have the choice of kicking back and receiving much-needed basic massage therapy at the Spa.

Mica Bella Make-Up also joins the revelry by giving the ladies a glamorous touch and making sure they are picture-perfect for every shot. The gents are not left behind either as Plush will provide shoe shine services for the immaculate gentleman.

The well-rested and beautified can then try out the entertainment lounge where the ladies and gents can mingle, over their cocktails or vodka on the rocks, and enjoy the beauty of technology.

The SA Vodka Festival will also introduce a Mixology Stand that will give visitors the opportunity to experiment with their vodkas and cocktails. Not far off will be the Food Pairing Stand, which will provide visitors with the perfect coupling options for their chosen spirit.

visitors will have the opportunity to purchase the vodka of their choice at special festival prices. Additionally, visitors will be able to buy other non-alcoholic products directly from the brand stands.

The SA Vodka Festival supports responsible drinking. As such, Rikki’s Cabs will be on hand to provide a cab service for visitors.

It’s easy to keep abreast of all that will be taking place at the SA Vodka Festival online. There is also a Facebook page for the event: SA Vodka Festival.
