From Cape Town, with Love was birthed from the idea that Cape Town has so much love to share with the world, through ingenuity, creativity, service and community building.
They wish to celebrate all things local through this space. This includes hosting conversations, events and workshops that feed into the idea of cultivating dream building, tackling justice issues and a space that can incubate the black entrepreneurial community.
Recently a small space in a trendy part of Long street became available. It is a small coffee bar with big potential, and it is the perfect springboard needed to build towards the larger vision.
The Tipping Point (R40 000) will afford the team the opportunity to cover all over expenses for the first three months. This will allow us to have a strong start as a business.
Our Dream Goal (R100 000) will cover all our expenses for the first three months and will also allow us to make all the renovations needed to optimize the space. The team would love to have a bench installed, high top tables around the street pillars, the walls painted, tiled, as well as alterations done on the current furnishings.
All of the above is to ensure the space is one many can enjoy and feel welcome.
