Live Bait moves into the Muizenberg Neighbourhood

Muizenberg, considered to be the birthplace of surfing in South Africa, welcomes a new addition to its trendy beach-side dining scene this month, with the eagerly anticipated opening of Live Bait.

The beautifully designed restaurant – styled in a palate of contemporary calming blue and neutral colours – will be serving fresh quality seafood to locals, surfers and tourists alike in a casual, comfortable beachside environment.

At Live Bait we believe in doing simple things well – our focus is on serving good quality reasonably priced seafood in a beautiful setting. – Grant Dutton, CEO of the Harbour House Group.

Moving away from the traditional fish and chip shop aesthetic, the stand-out dining space, heralds a new era in stylish beachside dining.

Expect all your favourite crowd pleasers on the menu but with a stylish, vibrant twist … Smoked Paprika Calamari, Hake and Chips with Basil Mayonnaise and, of course, the freshest possible line fish. Yum!

Promising to be popular with surfers, families and foreign visitors alike, the casual banquette seating and colourful buzzing atmosphere make Live Bait the perfect place to enjoy a lazy lunch or dinner by the sea.
