The Federal is lucky number three for Chef James Diack. Modelled on an old-fashioned New York style deli; The Federal is located in Melville’s bustling Seventh Street and entices diners with the promise of home-made hot dogs, all-day waffles and the ever sought-after pumpkin pie. The dishes are reminiscent of those often found in old-school New York delis – a traditional brisket sandwich on homemade bread, farm-style hot dogs with beer-battered onion rings, fried chicken and some decadent dessert pies.
The Federal is located on the corner of Second Avenue and Seventh Street Melville.
