Say hello to OrderIn

Lazy people, drunk people, high – as in on a mountain, yo – people, people without a license, people who have hurt their foot and can’t drive, hungover people, and just anyone who likes using the internet to do something – REJOICE!

There is a new food delivery service in town:

Say hello to orderin.co.za

It’s super easy to use. Go to the site. Choose your area. Look at the list of restaurants. Pick one. Their menu will pop up. Click click click to select the things you want. And voila, dinner time. You’ll then get email confirmation that your order has been received from the restaurant. At each step you can also make a note on your purchase. Want the salad without peppers? There is a little space to type requests. Want extra soya sauce? Just tick the box.

Recently launched, they don’t have a huge amount of restaurants on board, but they’re picking them up nicely. Each restaurant has a different delivery fee, ranging from R0 – R20, as well as a varied delivery time, from 30min – (gasp) 90min. At least they’re honest. You can even use the service for PICK UP if you want to go get it yourself. Nifty. The site also tells you each restaurants opening hours, and won’t let you click on one that’s closed to avoid disappointment.

Thanks orderin.co.za for the great service. Easy to use, no awkward “K FOR KOALA, A FOR ASSHOLE, Y FOR YANKEE DOODLE, L FOR LOSER, I FOR IDIOT” name spelling on the phone. I’m sold.
