Hispanic market-style 2-course Lunch Special for Restaurant Week at La Boqueria

Restaurant Week is back!

It’s the time of the year, where upmarket restaurants across the country will offer their menu at reduced prices either for lunch or dinner. Seats have to be pre-booked in advance through the Restaurant Week online portal.

La Boqueria

La Boqueria, situated in Parktown North, is an iconic eatery with sublime food and décor to match. The Hispanic-style restaurant makes you feel as though you’re sitting bar-side in Barcelona – complete with lazily spinning ceiling fans, hanging macramé plants, lush greenery and on-trend furnishings. It’s a treat for the senses and the taste buds.

How to book?

This year, La Boqueria will be part of Restaurant Week (29 March – 5 May) offering a Hispanic market-style 2-course lunch delight for R245 pp.

Cajun calamari tubes, onions, garlic, salt, black pepper, chilli and cream. Served with fresh ciabata
BLISTERED EDAMAME BEANS
Edamame beans splashed with rock salt, chilli, soya and lime
ARTICHOKE AND FENNEL CROQUETTES
With asiago cheese and a lemon, chilli and garlic aioli
PAN DE TOMATE
Petite Spanish flat bread dressed with fresh chopped marinated tomatoes, garlic, herbs, and olive oil
GRILLED TEQUILA LIME CHICKEN TACO
Garlic and tequila marinated chicken, grilled and topped with cabbage, red onion, queso fresco, avo and cilantro

CHIPOTLE CHICKEN
Smokey jalapeño and paprika thighs, fried sweet potato, wood-roasted edamame salsa
PORK FILLET LA LENA
Citrus-marinated pork tenderloin with green peppercorn and sage sauce, topped with a drunken salsa and roasted

LAMB ENCHILADA
Slow cooked pulled lamb prepared with rosemary, garlic and roasted red peppers, rolled in a tortilla before being
finished in a wood fired oven and topped with a homemade spicy enchilada sauce and mozzarella cheese
MUSSEL POT
Full shell mussels in a creamy coconut lemon grass sauce
PORK BELLY AL PASTOR
Slowed cooked succulent pork belly served on a spicy achiote sauce, drizzled with a coriander emulsion and pineapple salsa
