When Jason Bakery teams up with one of the country’s boldest breweries, you know you’re in for something serious. Or, in this case, something seriously delicious.
Introducing: The Wolves Feast—a fire-powered food-and-beer collab between Jason Bakery and Jack Black Brewing Co., anchored by their legendary winter release, Wolves of Winter.
This isn’t just beer and food. It’s a Collaboration of Spirit—where passion meets plate, and brew meets bite.
- Let’s start with the beer. This year’s Wolves of Winter is a heavyweight: matured in cherry-oaked whisky barrels, layered with dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and smooth caramel. It’s moody. It’s rich. It’s the kind of beer that deserves its own dish.
- Enter Jason Lilley—master of pastry, flavour wizard, and full-time legend—who’s slow-braised Frankie Fenner grass-fed beef shin in that very beer and wrapped it in a hot water crust so golden it could stop traffic. The result? The Howling Wolf.
- And it doesn’t stop there. For dessert, we’re talking The Dark Wolf—a decadent dark chocolate stout cake with silky ganache and caramel drizzle, all soaked in Wolves of Winter. It’s the kind of thing you’ll think about weeks later.
