Kaapzicht, a 4th Generation Family-run Wine Estate, boasts picturesque vineyards overlooking the iconic Table Mountain. With a rich heritage dating back to 1946, Kaapzicht takes immense pride in their focus varietals, namely Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinotage, which are emblematic of the Stellenbosch region. Notably, they are home to the second oldest Chenin Blanc vineyard in South Africa, planted in 1947.
Passionate about sustainable agriculture, Kaapzicht is in the process of transitioning to organic and regenerative farming practices. By caring for their vines and the environment, they aim to produce wines that reflect their commitment to quality and the earth.
The wine selection for this exclusive tasting event includes the Kaapzicht Sauvignon Blanc 2022, Kaapzicht Kliprug Chenin Blanc 2022, Kaapzicht Skraalhans Pinotage 2022, Kaapzicht Bottelary Hills Blend (Shiraz/Merlot/Cabernet) 2020, and the Kaapzicht Rooiland Pinotage 2020.
