Harringtons Cocktail Lounge turns Thursdays into a Whiskey-Led Dinner Experience

At Harringtons Cocktail Lounge, Thursdays take a more refined turn with East City Sessions & Supper with Jameson—a dinner-led experience that balances comfort, flavour, and a touch of indulgence.

The evening centres around a two-course dinner for R350 per person, with the option of starter and main or main and dessert.

What’s on the Menu?

  • It begins with crumbed mozzarella served with grained mustard aioli and a pickled cabbage salad—crispy, balanced, and a solid start.
  • Mains offer a choice that caters across the board. The linefish is light and fragrant with lemongrass and ginger broth, while the grilled sirloin leans classic with mash, jus, and sautéed greens. For something plant-forward, the stuffed aubergine brings depth with feta, spinach, roasted root vegetables, dukkah spice, and curry oil.
  • Dessert keeps things simple and to the point: Jameson-infused chocolate truffles—rich, smooth, and unmistakably on theme.

Then come the cocktails.

Each guest is welcomed with a whiskey sour on arrival, followed by a second cocktail paired with the main course. The menu sticks to well-crafted, no-nonsense classics.

The Apple Cinnamon Whiskey Sour offers a crisp, lightly spiced profile, while the Peach Old Fashioned adds a softer, fruit-forward twist to a staple. For those who prefer something more straightforward, the Classic Godfather delivers a smooth, nutty finish.
