Kitima at the Kronendal is situated in an old Cape-Dutch style homestead dating back to the 17th Century. Several hundred years ago, the Dutch East India Company traded between Europe, the Cape of Good Hope and Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Siam. Here, they are re-creating the romance of this era, when the refinements of an eastern way of life were imported to the west for the very first time.

VIP Room
A private intimate dining room, furnished with a bespoke round walnut table inset and a gilded wood carving at its center with dazzling chandelier center piece that will enchant your senses. This dining room seats a maximum of 12 guests.
Temple room
The Temple room poses a feature wall covered in tones of ox-blood and taupe offset by splendid pieces of gilded woodcarvings that occupies the focal point of this room. This dining room seats a maximum of 40 guests.
Bangkok room
The Bangkok room poses floor to ceiling jewel toned silk drapes; pictures of the past era offering glimpses of Thailand’s majestic history of the Royal family set a magnificent backdrop to the Bangkok room. This dining room seats a maximum of 38 guests.
Boat room
The boat room is one of the oldest rooms in the house. Warm and rustic adorned with pictures of the old Siam. A river boat that was picked up from a Bangkok weekend market sets a perfect backdrop for this room. This dining room seats a maximum of 26 guests.
Lovers room
The smallest and most enchanting dining room which seats a maximum of 6 people is a beautiful little alcove room with a curtain that can be drawn for complete privacy.
