Launching on Saturday, 6 June, this limited-edition tasting invites guests to discover how handcrafted artisanal ice cream can bring out unexpected flavours in award-winning wines.
The experience features four carefully curated ice cream and wine pairings, each designed to complement and elevate the other.
- Among the highlights are the estate’s Chardonnay paired with Pumpkin, Ginger & Dukkah Ice Cream, a combination that balances creamy richness with warming spice, and the bold Auret paired with Pea & Bacon Ice Cream, offering a surprising savoury-sweet contrast that is sure to spark conversation around the tasting table.
Unlike a traditional seated tasting, guests are welcome to arrive at any time during the day and enjoy the experience at their own pace, making it an easy addition to a weekend in the Winelands. Whether visiting with friends, planning a date, or simply looking for something a little different, the pairing offers a refreshing take on wine appreciation.
At R175 per person, guests can enjoy four handcrafted ice creams paired with four Clos Malverne wines in an experience that is equal parts indulgent, creative, and distinctly Stellenbosch.
