Celebrate Mom with Art on a Plate at GÅTE at Quoin Rock

Mother’s Day is almost here—and if ever there was a moment to treat the women who raised us to something extraordinary, it’s now.

This Sunday, GÅTE at Quoin Rock invites families to skip the usual and gift Mom an unforgettable fine dining experience. Spoiler: it’s not your average Sunday lunch.

At R1450 per person, the Chef’s Experience is a culinary journey across six beautifully plated courses.

  • Think poached salmon with black garlic and citrus, aged seabass with cauliflower and red pepper, and a kudu dish that’s as bold as Mom’s opinions. Every course is a work of art—crafted to impress, designed to surprise, and guaranteed to have her doing that elegant “mmm” nod after every bite.
  • And because no celebration is complete without something sweet, the GÅTE team has added a Mother’s Day-inspired dessert to the menu. It’s the perfect finale to a meal that already borders on poetic. (Hint: their Swiss Roll with caramel and pecan already has a fan club.)

Those in the know can opt for the full wine pairing experience at R2600 per person, featuring Quoin Rock and Knorhoek’s best vintages. If Mom enjoys a fine Chardonnay or a rare Red Blend, she’ll be in excellent hands.

Pro tip: the ambience is as refined as the food, so keep the cheers gentle and your inside voice polished—this is fine dining, after all.

Lunch bookings are available until 13:30 and dinner until 18:30. Tables are limited, so booking ahead is not just smart—it’s essential. This Mother’s Day, go beyond flowers and say “thank you” with a meal she’ll still be talking about next year.
