The 20th international competition of the World’s best Chardonnay wines, Chardonnay du Monde has just come to an end.
Simonsig are proud to announce that their Chardonnay 2012 was awarded a beautiful silver medal this year, maintaining it’s award winning standards as with the 2010; 2008;2007 and 2005 vintage.
Competing against a large concentration of chardonnay wine and vast geographical diversity: 872 wine samples from 42 countries. Chardonnay du Monde occupies a special place amongst international competitions thanks to its worldwide scope and its rigorous method.
Strict quality standards and optimal tasting conditions enabled the international judges to award 291 medals that are recognised as a reliable criterion for selection.
