This summer, The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa is offering a unique and glamorous lunch option that includes an exhilarating helicopter flight to the hotel. The perfect way to celebrate a special occasion, impress a date or to present to someone special as the ultimate gift, the ‘Two Flights Experience’ lunch package includes a three course gourmet select menu at Azure Restaurant and a flight of three wines selected by the Sommelier for a tasting. The deal includes a one-way helicopter flight from the V&A Waterfront to the hotel, as well as a hotel transfer by vehicle back to the V&A Waterfront. (Cost: R1650 per person/minimum of two guests per flight)

Be whisked away VIP-style in a private helicopter and arrive in style after a scenic flight, taking in the views of Robben Island, Clifton, Lion’s Head and Camps Bay, before landing at The Twelve Apostles Hotel’s helipad amongst the fynbos gardens behind the hotel, with its dramatic location between the Atlantic Ocean and the Twelve Apostles mountain range.

Back on land, guests will be treated to a delicious select menu in the award-winning Azure Restaurant, prepared by Executive Chef, Christo Pretorius. The excellent service and perfect Atlantic Ocean views, combined with a warm and welcoming interior and superior food and wine, invite guests to immerse themselves in a true Cape experience. Choices will include Chef Christo Pretorius’ signature Prawn Dhal with creamed cauliflower, cumin yoghurt, pineapple chutney, hydrated sultana and verjuice; fresh Catch of the Day served with a dill pancake, Malay spiced butternut, caramelized garlic, mung beans, confit baby fennel, curried veloute; and the spectacular Twelve Apostles Vanilla Crème Brûlée to round the experience off on a sweet note. Guests will be returned to the V&A Waterfront by The Twelve Apostles Hotel’s private shuttle after lunch.
