An Ibiza Style Celebration comes to Life at Benguela Cove Wine Estate with the Blue & White Party

Spring arrives in style at Benguela Cove Wine Estate with the return of its elegant Blue & White Party, a celebration of exceptional wine, fresh seafood, live music and spectacular lagoon views.

Taking place on Saturday, 31 October 2026, from 15:00 to 22:00, the event transforms the estate’s Lagoon Lawns into a sophisticated coastal gathering where guests are invited to embrace the blue and white dress code.

Think linen shirts, flowing dresses and relaxed seaside elegance. As the event takes place on the lawns, flat shoes or wedges are recommended for comfort throughout the afternoon and evening.

  • Every ticket includes a welcome glass of Benguela Cove Cap Classique, setting the tone for an afternoon dedicated to great wine and relaxed luxury. Guests will enjoy guided tastings of some of the estate’s standout wines, including Cuvée 58, Cuvée Rosé, Joie de Vivre, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, while gourmet grazing canapés and a live oyster shucking station keep everyone well fed.

The carefully curated menu showcases fresh coastal flavours, beginning with elegant canapés including smoked salmon blinis, prawn ceviche spoons and crab tartare cups. Later in the afternoon, sweet treats such as mini pavlovas and white chocolate with lemon posset shots provide the perfect finish as the sun begins to set.

Throughout the day, live music creates an upbeat Ibiza-inspired atmosphere before easing into a more relaxed soundtrack as golden hour settles over Benguela Cove’s 2.7-kilometre private waterfront. It’s an afternoon designed for lingering conversations, exceptional wine and unforgettable scenery before the festivities conclude at 22:00.

Early Bird tickets are available for R750 until 19 September 2026, after which Standard tickets are R850 from 20 September onwards.

Guests looking to extend the experience can turn the event into a luxurious weekend escape by booking one of Benguela Cove’s architect-designed villas.

Ranging from intimate three-bedroom retreats to expansive five-bedroom luxury homes, each villa features a private swimming pool, wood-fired hot tub, indoor and outdoor braai facilities and panoramic views across the vineyards, lagoon and mountains. Guests booking directly also receive a complimentary wine tasting for two on arrival, along with a welcome bottle of Benguela Cove wine waiting in the villa.

The estate offers plenty to enjoy beyond the party itself. Spend the weekend exploring the Moody Lagoon Restaurant, relaxing with a gourmet picnic, joining a vineyard safari or cellar tour, learning the art of sabrage, browsing the contemporary art gallery, taking part in the scenic 5 km Parkrun, or enjoying a round of adventure golf.

Situated on the R43 between Hermanus and Bot River, approximately 15 minutes from Hermanus and 70 minutes from Cape Town, Benguela Cove makes for an easy day trip or an unforgettable weekend destination.
