Throughout June, the popular restaurant has partnered with Hennessy to create a limited-edition Cognac Pairing Experience, combining carefully selected dishes with cognac and espresso pairings designed to highlight the spirit’s rich, warming character.
Rather than following the traditional after-dinner cognac route, Beluga’s pairing menu explores how Hennessy can complement a variety of flavours, from seafood and sushi to indulgent desserts.
- Guests can begin with the Tuna Crunch Pairing (R295), featuring Beluga’s creamy and crunchy tuna California roll served alongside a double Hennessy and espresso. The combination balances the freshness of the sushi with the robust notes of the cognac and the rich depth of coffee.
- For those who prefer something savoury and comforting, the Crispy Calamari Pairing (R265) offers golden calamari tubes accompanied by a double Hennessy and espresso. The crisp texture and delicate seafood flavours work surprisingly well with the oaky, warming character of the cognac.
- Dessert lovers are unlikely to resist the Chocolate Fondant Pairing (R280). The molten chocolate centre is matched with a Hennessy Espresso Martini, creating a decadent finish where rich chocolate, coffee, and cognac come together in one indulgent experience.
